Meaningful OT depends on mutual fit and active participation. That usually involves understanding the problem, trying agreed practical changes, and sharing honest feedback about what did or did not help. You or your family are the final judge of whether the work has made everyday life meaningfully easier.
Neurodivergent adults
Neurodivergent-affirming OT input for people who are diagnosed, self-identifying, or still exploring what works for their brain and body.
Parents and carers
Practical support that makes parent or carer participation and changes to routines or environments central. The child is not treated as the problem or expected to simply comply.
Active participation is not the same as having unlimited capacity. Recommendations should account for disability, burnout, competing demands, finances, safety, and the realities of family life.

Telehealth is the default. Home visits may be available by agreement on designated travel days. The clinical session fee is prepaid when the appointment is arranged; the lower apportioned travel amount is charged where possible, subject to the published caps, after the route locks 48 hours beforehand.
Sessions are pay-as-you-go and prepaid. Telehealth is the default. For an agreed home visit, the clinical session fee is prepaid first. Travel is apportioned across the planned route where possible and capped at $45 for a round trip up to 30 km or on a continuous scale from $45 to $75 for a 30–50 km round trip. Travel over 50 km is quoted in writing. The fee is confirmed and invoiced separately after the route locks 48 hours before the travel day.

A quick note about scope
acoachable is a focused private OT service. It is not emergency or crisis care, and some service types sit outside scope, including diagnostic assessments, Functional Capacity Assessments, NDIS access reports, medico-legal work, complex assistive technology, home modifications, and intensive case management.

Start with one paid session
Begin with one Single OT Session. Book another Single OT Session only if it would be useful.
Straightforward pricing
Paid sessions are paid upfront, but only after fit and scope have been checked. A 60-minute Single OT Session is $185 standard or $145 concession for eligible concession card and Foodbank cardholders.
If you may be eligible for a Medicare or private health rebate, you can check and claim independently. Eligibility and rebates are not guaranteed, so confirm them with the relevant fund or program before booking. Agreed home visits use the published capped and apportioned travel model.
